As founder and president of AJT Systems, Ron Linares brings 20 years of experience in video, graphics, and broadcast technology. Under his leadership, AJT has developed products for live sports productions, with thousands of graphic playout systems deployed worldwide. Most notable is Linares’s collaboration with ESPN, utilizing AJT technology for many critical and award winning productions across its properties including ESPN’s Bottomline, College Bowl Championship, ESPN NFL Draft, XGames, Sportscenter, Monday Night Football, Around the Horn, and many other ESPN productions over the course of a 20 year partnership.
Linares led the expansion of AJT technology to drive a large installed base of digital signage for sports venues and master control branding for OEM customers. He also developed/demonstrated the first laptop-based sports graphics system at NAB 2013 and won best of show for the LiveBook GFX laptop-based sports graphics system in 2015. Linares is committed to driving the state of the art in broadcast graphics and building solutions that are cost effective and easy to use for broadcasters of all levels.
Currently, Linares is involved in the product launch of the LiveBook GFX LE, which delivers dynamic and engaging graphics for live sports productions delivered by OTT distribution.
